Filinvest Land’s Studio City: Urban’s Professional Space in the South

Took in front of SNR Alabang

Three years ago, I came across this area of Alabang as I was searching for my ideal soon-to-be car. The location was right behind the six-car dealerships where I was to supposedly check my first car.

Studio City is located exactly in front of SNR Alabang. It is a 10-minute walk going to Northgate Cyberzone (Filinvest City’s business district) and Madrigal’s Business Park and, a 5-minute walk to a mall such as Alabang Town Center and a gym center such as Anytime Fitness. It is accessible to jeepneys going to and from Las Pinas area and Starmall Alabang. It is also convenient for those who are working in Makati because they can ride the P2P buses in Alabang Town Center. I wish they also have BGC too 🙂

I could compare this to Makati’s famous condominiums that serve as a landmark for locals and commuters along Dela Rosa. Surely, it can bring positive impact to the workforce driven community of Filinvest City.

During my first visit, I found out that it will be a 5-tower highrise building with commercial spaces in Tower 1. Locators such as 7/11, Ministop, Family Mart, a laundry station, and the likes, will soon occupy these spaces. No need to leave the area.

As I mentioned in my previous blog post, I bought a unit here. My unit is in Tower 2. Who’s not excited in living in your first acquired property? I am excited!

Arriving here is easy from where I stay, I took Uber 😛

From Alabang wet market, you can take a jeepney bound to Ayala Alabang/ATC and alight in-front of SNR Alabang.

Getting inside, you’ll be greeted by a guard…well not all of them will greet you. You can greet them first, it pays nothing to be kind.

Passing the guard you’ll see three elevators. Two of them are serving the residents while the other one is used for maintenance.

According to the guard at the lobby, they haven’t experienced getting stuck yet waiting for the elevator since Studio City is using three fully high-speed elevators for their 22 floors building. That’s awesome! I took a test going to 22nd from the ground floor and it only took me less than 30 seconds!

On the left side of the lobby, you will find the mailbox room.

The hallway is almost 2 meters wide. I didn’t expect it will be such that wide for condo catering studio units. The hallway is also well ventilated, there are windows that are strategically placed on the floor.

Entering the unit, you need to use an RFID. I know, so techie!!! I haven’t yet encountered a condominium door with an RFID as a key.

Keyless Access

The unit is a 16sqm studio type room. All rooms are studio type, thus the name Studio City. It is already semi-furnished which includes, upon purchase, a cabinet, a double deck bed with a pull-out bed, an entertainment shelf, and a study table. It is cozy and it has all the essential items that an urban professional need. It can be also powered by a generator during blackout, 1 outlet for the fridge, another outlet near the bed for phones and a light bulb in the bed area.

Sorry for the mess. Bought some exciting appliances. 😀

Soon, it will have its own gym, function room, game room, jogging path, basketball half court, and for those who like to stroll around, there will be an open sitting area.

I’ve always really admired your subliminal ways of dealing with this mishmash of grownup phases with positivity and preparedness. Continue to be an inspiration to zillions of struggling adults. Congrats again. 🙂
